Rita  was born on a farm 4 ˝ miles northeast of the small settlement of Angelus, KS. The wide open spaces of northwest Kansas has given her a broad view—an expansiveness of life. As a teenager she answered the call to religious life. After teaching in elementary schools for 18 years she moved into religious education and parish ministry in Kansas and New Mexico. She has served the Sister Adorers as Director of Associates, Provincial Councilor, and Coordinator of Community Life at their Wichita Center. She holds an MA in Elementary Counseling and an MA in Religious Education. Her love of Earth and her love of God complement each other. Rita is a part-time volunteer for GPEI.
